Researchers from the NUTRISAM group receive the Ángel Rivière Award for the design and validation of the EDUTEA questionnaire

In the context of the XVIII Congress of the Spanish Association of Professionals of Autism (AETAPI) of 17th, 18th and 19th November, the research group of Nutritrion and Mental Healt of the Rovira i Virgili University was joint winners of the Ángel Rivière research adwards.

The study presented is entitled “EDUTEA: A DSM-5 screening questionnaire for autism spectrum disorder and social pragmatic communication disorder for teachers” social pragmatic communication in school environments”.

The aim of the estudy consisted in the design and validation of a brief questionnaire to screen autism spectrum disorders and social pragmatic communication through the teaching of primary education, which has shown good levels of efficiency.

This study is framed within the project Epidemiology of neurodevelopmental disorders (EPINED), directed by Professor Josefa Canals being done in schools in the province of Tarragona with the support of Ministry of Education of the Government of Spain and the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
